Germiston Flying Squad members spotted and stopped a white Isuzu bakkie with two men inside on September 9 while travelling to work along Zonkizizwe.
After conducting an investigation, it was discovered that the bakkie had been stolen in Dayveton on the same day around 02:00 and the car had a false registration.
According to communication officer Sergeant Ntombikayise Ngcobo, the suspects detained are from Mozambique.
The Germiston Flying Squad’s unit commander, Lieutenant Colonel Kgole, thanked the members who performed a responsible and effective service by using the resources provided to them to battle the crime.
