Uncle Baboo comes to the rescue

More people benefit from Uncle Baboo and Crew

Issues with the water networks in Johannesburg have severely affected the public and have left residents fuming as they navigate water and power outages.

According to Johannesburg Water, the high water demand is affecting reservoirs and towers in the city.

As residents are faced with water crises, Uncle Baboo has selflessly assisted residents.

Water for the community.

Since October 4, Uncle Baboo has been sourcing water and containers and personally driving to assist anyone that has asked.

He has been to Robertsham, Ridgeway, Ormonde, Southdale, Sandalwood, Lakewood and all the old age homes distributing water until late hours.

Uncle Baboo has sent a special thank you to those who have allowed him to fill up water from their boreholes and those who assisted with containers and distribution.

A community member, Amanda Matthews said, “We as a community are forever grateful to Uncle Baboo for his selfless service.”

“A special thank you to all volunteers and Baboo’s Crew for all their efforts. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our generous sponsors, without whom our work would not be possible,” noted Uncle Baboo.
