Suspect in possession of Eskom prepaid meters and cards arrested

Police appreciate the community in helping them combat crime.

Johannesburg Flying Squad members arrested four suspects for different crimes in the Johannesburg area from October 7 to 10.

Among the four suspects arrested, one was for possession of a suspected stolen property by having Eskom prepaid meters and cards in his possession, one for selling alcohol without a liquor license and two suspects for being in possession of drugs.

Johannesburg Flying Squad communications officer, Raymond Sambo said the investigation continues in all cases, working with the community that led to these recoveries.

“SAPS appreciates the public for their contribution.

“Four suspects aged between 20 and 31 years old appeared at different magistrate’s courts facing charges of possession of the suspected stolen property, selling alcohol without a liquor license and possession of drugs,” he said.
