Motorists warned about a temporary road closure in Kempton Park
As the City of Ekurhuleni replaces a water supply pipeline in Kempton Park, motorists are urged not to use the intersection of Barbara and Diesel roads.
To allow the City of Ekurhuleni to replace a water supply pipeline, a road closure is in effect at the intersection of Barbara and Diesel roads in Isando, Kempton Park.
The city’s technicians started making repairs on February 8, and the road will be blocked until February 15.
According to city spokesperson Zweli Dlamini, unless there are delays brought on by unanticipated events, they will try their utmost to repair the pipe within the allotted time limit to minimise the inconvenience to road users.
“While repairs are underway, the City of Ekurhuleni appeals to motorists to utilise alternative routes,” Zweli concluded.
