The Beautiful Scar Events is set to host the birthing room one-day conference on April 29.
April is Caesarean Section Awareness Month. Beautiful Scar, a non-profit organisation based in Johannesburg, is hosting an event with experts from the medical field to spread knowledge about this delicate procedure and related subjects like infertility, child loss, miscarriage, and father support during these critical stages.
The purpose of this event is to give women and their partners the knowledge and resources they need to make an informed decision about their delivery options, including information about the risks and advantages of caesarean sections.
Participants will have the chance to interact with others, take part in activities, and hear from subject-matter experts.
The event will be held at the Adonaroza Lounge, 76 Voortrekker Road, Alberton Crossing, New Redruth at 13:00.
Guests of the day will be Benji Motloung (MC), Lilo Mthembu (independent midwife), Tebello Sukwene (pastor and musician), Mona Monyane (actress and entrepreneur) and Apostle Unathi Nkomfa (author of Umhlolokazi Olidlolokazi – The Barren Widow).
Tickets are sold at R450.
