Join the Cause4Paws breakfast run
The organization believes in being the voice for the voiceless and making efforts to help residents and animals in need.
Cause4Paws NPC is an animal welfare clinic in the Jackson’s Drift informal settlement and the organisation cares for over 33 000 disadvantaged residents and over 2 500 animals.
They sterilise, vaccinate, dip and deworm animals. They also feed residents once a month and help to treat animals that are abused, neglected and get viruses such as parvo and biliary.
Cause4Paws will be hosting a breakfast run on July 2, at Misty River Wedding Venue, R554, as a fundraiser. The breakfast run will be from 9:00 to 14:00.
It is open to the public as well as bikers and cyclists. Tickets cost R200 which includes a welcome drink, yummy breakfast buns with a vegetarian option, bottled water, tea or coffee and a pancake. The event includes awesome music and a cash bar will be available.
For bookings contact Elzeth on 082 376 4554 or René on 083 414 6144 Cause4Paws is in need of donations too.
“We desperately need to pay our veterinary clinics bills, purchase food, medications and cleaning products. We have completely run out of food and medications and desperately need to feed the residents and animals in our care.
“We are always in need of previously loved kennels, blankets, collars, leads and bowls. Our veterinary clinics are Brackenhurst Veterinary Clinic, Hennie Albert’s Veterinary Clinic, Kibler Park Veterinary Clinic and Orion Veterinary Clinic and they are drop off zones,” said René Parker from Cause4Paws NPC.
