Marist Brothers Linmeyer celebrates their Name Day

Marist Brothers Linmeyer celebrated their Name Day in true Catholic tradition with a whole-school Mass on September 8.

Marketing assistant Nomshado Makhonjwa said, “The name of this particular Marist school is Marian College, after Our Lady Mary, the Mother of Our Lord Jesus. As she is the school’s patroness.”

This celebration falls on her nativity, September 8, each year. Mass was celebrated by the chaplain, Father Tshepo Duik, with Father Eduardo Gabriel and Father Thabo Mothibe concelebrating.
