Creative Academy’s fifth blood drive for 2023

Creative Academy hosts a blood drive and makes successful donations

Creative Academy hosted round five of its 2023 blood drive campaign.

They managed to bring in 25 successful donations. One pint of blood can potentially save three lives, so 75 people will benefit from the 35 minutes each donor set aside for this worthy cause.

Director Jenna Axsel said: “We are always so grateful to the regulars who donate blood; blood donors are scarce, and we appreciate that our community’s time is of the essence.

“It was amazing seeing familiar as well as some new faces Thank you to all those who sacrificed some of their time to help a perfect stranger and pay it forward.”

Creative Academy’s next blood drive will be hosted on November 15 at 81 Jackson Street, Brackenhurst.

“We are aiming to give the blood bank a boost ahead of the festive season, so we encourage all community members to bring a friend or family member to the next round,” said Axsel.
