According to Alberton SAPS spokesperson Captain Manare Ramotshela, the suspects were alleged to have committed crimes ranging from shoplifting and assault with the intention to commit grievous bodily harm, to name a few.
“They were also nabbed for theft, fraud, malicious damage to property, possession of drugs, drunk and driving as well as illegal immigration. The alleged criminals were charged and taken to a local court to face their crimes. And the station commander has welcomed the good job performed by officers,” he said.
