Help support Alberton Child Welfare’s annual golf day
Alberton Child Welfare will be hosting their annual golf day, which will take place on October 26 at the Glenvista Country Club.

Alberton Child Welfare is an NPO situated in Alberton North, providing social work services to children and families in the greater Alberton area.
They have been in existence since 1940 and is a registered NPO. Their primary objective is to protect, promote rights and ensure the well-being, safety and development of children within the context of a family and community.
Anubha Mackerdhuj of Alberton Child Welfare said as an NPO, they experience ongoing financial difficulties to ensure the sustainability of their services.
“Our board is Johan Pretorious, Johan Dippenaar, Christelle Keevy, Dieter van Es, Sharon Nebbeling, Eugene Jacobs, Martin Kroukamp, Eddie Franco, CJ Minnie and Xolani Dlamini. They appeal to the community to participate in the annual golf day at the Glenvista Country Club,” she said.
Corporates and businesses are also invited to sponsor a hole.
The aim of the event is to raise funds for the entity to ensure the rendering of services to vulnerable children.
