On March 21, 2022, the complainant arrived at work in Robertsham when he noticed the gate of the company-wide open and two air conditioners were missing.
The security company, employed by the complainant, had already taken two suspects in custody of one air conditioner.
Booysens SAPS was contacted and the suspects were arrested for theft.
The docket was handed to Sergeant Angeline Radebe to investigate. On May 5, the suspects were sentenced to one-year imprisonment of which one year is suspended for five years with the choice of acknowledgement of guilt or bail estreatment of R10 000.
