7 years behind bars for house break-in

Mkhabela pleaded not guilty.

Magistrate Habib found Teddy Mkhabela (33) guilty of house break-in with intent to steal and theft.

The sentence was handed down at Booysens Magistrate’s Court on June 25.

It is said that Mkhabela on April 11, 2021, at Booysens, unlawfully and intentionally broke open and entered a business premises to steal an iPad, laptop, Wi-Fi router, hard drive and a car radio.
