April 8 next year is set for plea and trial in the fraud case involving accused Sheldon Terry.
This was said by Magistrate Vele at Booysens Magistrate’s Court on November 7.
Vele said the available presiding officer will continue with the case. “Hopefully that time around there will be no challenges and the trial will be able to start.”
On April 23, at Terry’s pre-trial, Vele confirmed they added two more accused (in the form of businesses) to the charge sheet: Astrodon (Pty) Ltd and Centrec Trust Financial Services.
Terry is the sole director of both companies. He first appeared in court on December 21, 2021, and is out on R5 000 bail.
