Moffat View SAPS investigate Rewlatch kidnapping incident

Moffat View SAPS are investigating a case of kidnapping that happened in Rewlatch, Shiney Street on February 11.

According to Moffat View SAPS station commander Colonel Shunny Govender, one of the employees of Gaby’s store was being dropped off by her boss, José de Sousa, at her place of residence between 19:00 and 20:15.

“While she was still entering her place of residence, an unknown double cab van pulled up behind her boss’ vehicle. Three unknown African males jumped out. They ran to his Citroen and pulled him out of the driver’s seat and put him into their vehicle, then drove off. No ransom demands have yet been made. The docket is in for further investigation,” he said.
