A Vumacam alert and swift multi-agency response led to a dramatic pursuit from Linmeyer to Katlehong, ending in the arrest of a robbery suspect.

A coordinated law-enforcement operation led to the successful arrest of a robbery suspect following a high-speed pursuit across several areas in Johannesburg’s south.

Authorities received intelligence from Vumacam identifying a maroon Toyota Tazz linked to a robbery in the Linmeyer area.

The vehicle was reported to be travelling towards Glenvista, prompting an immediate tactical response.

Fox Security operational units located the suspect vehicle and attempted to stop it, but the driver failed to comply, triggering a pursuit.

The chase continued through Brackenhurst and into Katlehong, where officers successfully brought the vehicle to a halt and arrested the suspect without further incident.
