A suspect linked to a hijacking case in Kempton Park was arrested in Glenanda after a vehicle wanted in connection with the crime was traced by Fox Security.

According to Fox Security, it received information about a vehicle wanted in connection with a hijacking that was travelling in the Mulbarton area.

The security company said its members immediately mobilised and located the vehicle on Kliprivier Road in Glenanda.

“Further investigation confirmed that the driver was allegedly one of the suspects linked to the hijacking,” Fox Security said.

The suspect was apprehended and taken in for further investigation.

Fox Security described the arrest as another successful operation in the fight against crime and thanked members of Johannesburg K9 SAPS for their assistance.
