A suspect was apprehended in Mondeor on July 21 after Fox Tactical Units responded to a call from a vigilant resident who reported an attempted burglary at his property.

According to Fox Tactical, the resident noticed a man attempting to force entry and immediately alerted authorities.

Upon realising he had been spotted, the suspect fled on foot into a nearby open bush area in an attempt to evade capture.

Tactical members responded immediately, tracked the suspect through the bush, and successfully detained him.

The suspect was positively identified by the complainant at the scene, and CCTV footage obtained from the property further confirmed his involvement in the attempted break-in.

The resident’s prompt reporting of the incident was key to the suspect’s apprehension.

Mondeor CPF Sector 2 members also provided support and cooperation in the operation.
