Animal Anti-Cruelty League Johannesburg (AACL-JHB) is set to host an open day on May 11 from 08:00 to 12:00 at their premises in Regents Park.
The open day will also be a fun day that will include educational talks, food stalls, charity shop sales and great prizes and discounts at their pet shop.
The event is primarily to showcase the animals up for adoption but also to reveal the newly revamped kennel office and sensory garden for the animals.
Appeals are out for blankets to keep the animals warm this winter and a collection point is available on the day for winter blankets and the toy drive.
