Over 1 200 join SAUAC wellness walk to support cancer awareness

Community members laced up their sneakers to raise vital funds for those battling cancer.

South Africa United Against Cancer (SAUAC) hosted yet another successful wellness walk, this year.

The awareness event saw 1234 people who attended in support of cancer patients and survivors. The community united to bring awareness and fight against cancer.

Additionally, the Gauteng Department of Health attended this spectacular event and offered screenings for the participants.

Founder of SAUAC, Tshepang Lutshaba said: “I want to express a huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the wellness walk against cancer 2024. Together, we walked, supported, and inspired one another in the fight against cancer. From the participants to our amazing volunteers, sponsors, and special guests – their dedication and energy made this day unforgettable.”
