Waterstone College class of 2024 shines with outstanding IEB results

Waterstone College has once again demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence, achieving an impressive 100% matric pass rate for the Class of 2024.

Waterstone College maintained a 100% IEB pass rate and a 100% tertiary exemption rate, ensuring that every matriculant qualifies for further studies.

Waterstone College hosted a press results event at the school on January 14, where parents and learners gathered to celebrate the exceptional matric achievements.

The event was an opportunity for the school principal to announce the results and commend the learners for their hard work and dedication.

“I’m extremely proud of every individual, from those who managed to improve their marks to our top achievers. The Class of 2024 impressed, and we’re thankful for the wonderful results we achieved,” said Waterstone College executive head, JC Engelbrecht.

Top achiever Leeza Mol, who obtained seven distinctions, expressed her joy: “I’m very proud of myself. It was a lot of hard work, but I’m glad my efforts paid off.”

Another standout student, Timothy Cable, shared his excitement: “I got eight distinctions. I’m very happy with my results.”

Waterstone College continues to uphold its tradition of academic excellence, and the Class of 2024 has set a high standard for future learners.

The 2024 matric group delivered remarkable academic results, boasting 14 A aggregates, 43 B aggregates, 210 subject A aggregates, 240 subject B aggregates, 289 subject C aggregates.

Waterstone College proudly recognises its top achievers who ranked among the best in the country:

Leeza Mol seven distinctions, Divya Raspal eight distinctions, Jaydon Perumal seven distinctions, Timothy Cable eight distinctions, Celine So seven distinctions, Talhah Mia seven distinctions, Jia Naran six distinctions, Holly Duddy, Karabelo Maema and Amukelani Maseko all with five distinctions, and Manqoba Buthelezi, Lucas Louro, Oratile Malepe, Kule Minnie, Hayden Scallan and Jesse Visser all with four distinctions.
