WATCH: Gauteng Sanathan Mandir hosts a fruitful fundraiser

Mandir gets support from community.

The Gauteng Sanathan Mandir, a non-profit company, hosted a fundraiser at Panarottis, Gold Reef City, on March 5.

They raised funds by selling raffle tickets, with three prizes up for grabs. The first prize was a trip for two to Durban.

The event was fun, festivity and lots of music, with vocalist Bushan Das performing various top hits.

There was a great turnout as the restaurant was packed with members and guests of the Sanathan Mandir.
They sold out raffle tickets as everyone supported the mandir.

Along with delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere, the mandir community ensured a fair draw and that the winners received their prizes, as some were not in attendance.

The chairperson of the Gauteng Sanathan Mandir, Naresh Lalmund, spoke about the need for the fundraiser.

“We need to raise funds for the mandir, to maintain and grow it. The support from our members, sponsors and the community is always touching and we appreciate it,” said Lalmund.
