MMC inspects infrastructure issues in La Rochelle and Rosettenville

Focus on blocked drains, water system concerns, and maintenance efforts to improve service delivery.

On March 7, MMC Kenny Kunene conducted an inspection in various areas of Johannesburg, including La Rochelle and Rosettenville.

The inspection aimed to address concerns raised by the community, with a focus on water system issues, drain problems, and maintenance.

During the inspection, Kunene was joined by officials from Johannesburg Water (JW), who are responsible for addressing these issues.

By inviting JW officials onsite, Kunene sought to expedite intervention and ensure that the concerns of the community are promptly addressed.

The inspection is part of the city’s efforts to restore and maintain essential services under the banners of #OperationRestore, #OperationLokisa, #OperationLungisa, and #OperasieHerstel.

By working together with stakeholders and the community, the city aims to ensure that Johannesburg remains a great place to live, work, and invest.

“We will work with Joburg Water and City Power to make sure our infrastructure is maintained and upgraded,” said Kunene.
