Celebrate with the Gauteng Sanathan Mandir
The Gauteng Sanathan Mandir will host their inaugural observance of the Hindi New Year.

The Gauteng Sanathan Mandir will host their inaugural observance of the Hindi New Year (Naya Saal) on March 30.
The ceremony will start at 10:30 and take place at 16 Ulster Crescent in Crown Gardens.
What is Hindi New Year?
Hindu New Year may refer to: Hindu Lunar New Year: Chaitra Navaratri or Navarati (March–April).
Or the Hindu Solar New Year: Mesha Sankranti (April–May). It symbolises the renewal of life, the win of good over evil, the simple act of starting a new chapter in life, and pursuing both religious and spiritual goals.
The ceremony will consist of an opening prayer followed by a delicious festive lunch. Dance and entertainment will carry on for the rest of the event.
It is an occasion for the whole family.
Donations towards the celebration are most welcome.
