New puppy joins JOY Dogs family
Yo Yo travelled for days to reach South Africa and is now happily playing with her new canine family.
The JOY Dogs family has grown with the arrival of a new member, Yo Yo, who has travelled all the way from Russia. She comes from the same breeder as Orion but has different parents.
Yo Yo’s journey was long and challenging. She left Siberia on a Tuesday, flew five hours to Moscow, stayed overnight, then flew to Istanbul, stayed overnight again, before finally reaching Johannesburg. Upon arrival, she spent seven days in quarantine.

Sue Green shared: “Importing a dog is not easy or cheap, but it has been worth every bit of the effort.”
The other JOY Dogs, Jade and Orion, welcomed Yo Yo warmly. She adjusted quickly and even played with Jade, showing a joyful and friendly personality.
Yo Yo is four and a half months old, with striking blue eyes and a typical puppy’s energy. She has already been up to some mischief, but loves her new home and playing with Jade.

Sue expressed: “I am so happy we are three dogs again. I’m sure she is the perfect choice – friendly and happy. My routine has changed because she needs more work and training. We’ve already started basic training, and she can sit on command. Posing for photos will take a while, and she might need to be held and cuddled during the posing, which everyone will enjoy.”
Yo Yo will begin her work in October, taking part in promotional events for Dulux and community activities with the JOY Dogs.
This month, she will spend time getting used to her new environment, the house, garden, car and learning basic obedience.
The JOY Dogs family is excited for the adventures ahead with their new furry friend.
