Al-Ansaar Lakewood Festival: A celebration of community and compassion in Johannesburg
Gauteng gets a taste of Al-Ansaar's signature event at the Lakewood Conference Centre
The Al-Ansaar Lakewood Festival is taking place from October 2 to 6 at Johannesburg’s Lakewood Conference Centre in Ormonde.
This five-day celebration embodies service, compassion, and inclusivity, while highlighting the Al-Ansaar Foundation’s impactful community projects such as the Ibn Masud School for Children with Special Needs and the Able the Disabled campaign, which has already distributed more than 2,500 wheelchairs.
Festival-goers can look forward to a vibrant marketplace with local talent and products, live entertainment, family-friendly cultural performances, and the very best of South African cuisine and showcases.
Interactive spaces and dialogues on youth, wellness, and business will also form part of the programme, encouraging meaningful participation from the community.
