On January 18, Johannesburg Water issued a customer notice announcing water supply interruptions in South Hills because of power challenges at the South Hills Pumping Station.

The interruptions are specifically due to City Power’s planned maintenance, which has impacted pumping at the station.

At this stage, there is no estimated restoration time.
