WATCH: Marist Brothers Linmeyer celebrates Champagnat Spirit Day in style

The school community came together for Champagnat Day, featuring energetic alumni vs learners games, food vendors and global Marist traditions of service and celebration.

Marist Brothers Linmeyer recently celebrated its annual Champagnat Spirit Day, joining Marist schools around the world in honouring this global tradition held on June 6.

The day marks the feast of Saint Marcellin Champagnat, founder of the Marist Brothers, and is observed across Marist schools and ministries worldwide through special Masses, community service and school festivities.

At Marist Brothers Linmeyer, the celebration brought together learners, staff, alumni and families for a vibrant day of sport and connection.

A key highlight was the high-energy alumni versus student matches, where former learners faced Grade 8 teams in sports including netball and soccer, alongside other fixtures.
