The Impact Dance Club from Hoërskool President High School has made the school proud with an outstanding performance at the Gauteng Provincial Championship 2026.

The talented dance team competed in the alternative-style novice category, impressing the judges and earning an excellent score of 93%.

The team’s success did not end there. They were also named the overall best large group dancers, a special award that recognised their exceptional performance and teamwork.

The achievement reflects the dancers’ hard work and deep passion for dance. Months of practice and dedication paid off as they delivered a performance that stood out among the province’s top competitors.

The school congratulated every member of the Impact Dance Club, as well as the coaches and everyone who supported the team. A representative from the school said: “Their success is a proud moment for the entire President High School community and an inspiration to other learners to work hard and follow their dreams. With this remarkable achievement, the Impact Dance Club has shown that dedication, teamwork and a love for dance can lead to great success.”
