Planned South Hills food parcel assessment postponed until further notice

The organisation says the Department of Social Development's planned community food parcel assessment, due to take place today, has been postponed until further notice.

Pomeroy Community Development NPC says the Department of Social Development’s community food parcel assessment, which was due to take place at 10:30 today at the South Rand Recreation Centre, has been postponed until further notice.

According to a notice issued by Pomeroy Community Development NPC, the planned assessment will no longer proceed as scheduled.

The organisation said the postponement relates to the Department of Social Development’s event and that a new date has not yet been announced.

Pomeroy Community Development NPC apologised for any inconvenience caused and advised residents to await further communication regarding the rescheduled assessment.
