The Department of Social Development has announced that SASSA will conduct a community assessment of food parcels in South Hills to identify and assist vulnerable households in the area.

Community members are invited to attend the assessment, which will take place at the South Rand Recreation Centre, 9 Geneva Road, South Hills, on July 23 at 10:30.

The assessment forms part of ongoing efforts to ensure that food relief reaches those who need it most within the community.

Residents who wish to participate have been asked to bring along their ID and proof of residence, as these documents will be required during the assessment process.

The initiative is being coordinated with support from local community stakeholders to streamline access for eligible beneficiaries.
