Joburg south youth feed 200 children at Wits University Volunteers Center

Young volunteers stepped up to cook and serve nutritious meals during a September outreach drive.

Youth volunteers gave their time and energy on September 1 to prepare and serve meals to 200 children at the Wits University Volunteers Centre in Johannesburg.

Vegetables provided by Alberton LewenSentrum Gemeente made the Sharing Kindness Foundation’s outreach drive possible.

“We are incredibly grateful to see the youth stepping up,” said Janse van Rensburg. “This is what Sharing Kindness is all about – young people choosing to serve others. Thanks to Alberton LewenSentrum’s donation, we were able to feed 200 children, but more importantly, we served hope, love, and kindness.

This is proof that kindness has a powerful future.”
