SASSA releases payment dates from October to December
The agency has released its 2026/27 payment schedule for Older Persons, Disability and Children's Grants.
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) has released its annual payment schedule for the 2026/2027 financial year, outlining when beneficiaries will receive their Older Persons, Disability and Children’s Grants.
The agency confirmed the payment dates starting from October 2026 through to March 2027.
October:
• Older persons grant: October 2
• Disability grants: October 5
• Children’s grants: October 6, and all exceptions will be processed on October 7.
November:
• Older persons: November 3
• Disability grants: November 4
• Children’s grants: November 5, and exceptions on November 6.
December:
• Older persons grants: December 2
• Disability grants: December 3
• Children’s grants: December 4, and exceptions on December 7.
SASSA has reminded beneficiaries that once the grant money is in their account, it will remain there, and they do not need to rush to withdraw it on the first day.
