Grade 11’s at Trinityhouse Glenvista get real-world business insight

Beyond the classroom: Learners gain practical business skills.

Trinityhouse Glenvista’s Grade 11 commerce students took a significant step beyond the classroom on March 5, visiting Town Square in Newmarket, Alberton.

The excursion provided a unique opportunity for students to engage directly with professionals in the restaurant industry, gaining valuable insights into real-world applications of accounting, business management, and economics.

Students interacted with managers, waiters, and chefs, exploring topics such as daily operations, customer service, stock control, costing, and financial management.
