MONDEOR – I would like to take this opportunity to thank Waltons and HP for the sponsorship they gave me in order to attend Global Young Leaders Conference which took place in Washington DC and New York.

The experience was phenomenal. It taught me how to be more independent and how the world is different from what we are accustomed to. We all live in our own comfort zone and it opened my eyes to the greater world that we live in.

Through this experience, I was removed from my comfort zone and put into unfamiliar surroundings, but I quickly realised that if you want to reach your full potential you have to adapt to change and be prepared and accept and adapt to anything that comes your way.

We saw many interesting sights like the Smithsonian, but I was more intrigued by the Lincoln Memorial. It was aesthetically appealing and a great feat in art and symbolism. Its detail in technique of the sculpture was astounding.

If I could do this again, I would. The experience broadened my horizon and opened my eyes to the possibility of future travels.

Once again, thank you form the bottom of my heart to both Waltons and HP for making this opportunity possible. I am eternally grateful that I was able to have this life changing experience.
