After some six months of intermittent and exceptionally slow internet speed through Telkom in the Robertsham area and umpteen fault reporting and getting one story after the other as to when it will be resolved.
Today (April 4) after spending 35 minutes to get through to a human voice on 10210, the latest saga is for the last 169 days the Robertsham exchange has experienced congestion, hence the reason for the slow internet response times.
No one can tell me when the exchange will be upgraded, and upon asking to speak to someone higher up the chain, I was told you can speak to my manager but he will tell you the same thing. No one knows if the Robertsham exchange is getting upgraded or not or when this issue will be addressed.
I am paying monthly for a quicker internet package data and not receiving it.
Are other Telkom residents in the Robertsham area experiencing the same problem as mine?
The end result will be changing to another service provider and not Telkom.
