Not even less than a year ago a hijacking took place in front of my house. Since then I have been living in fear.

I am not the only one who has been faced with crime of this nature. Isn’t it enough that we live in fear; now we are also living in an area that looks as scary as it is?

All we get are promises from our ward councillor, half the street lights don’t work, which is absolutely dangerous and makes it so easy for any kind of crime to occur.

The refuse, every second block has beds, mattresses and old furniture lying outside, drains are blocked which causes a pile-up of dirt.

Since this is an ANC ward, can the councillor please do something.
