‘No to beggars at the street corners’: – Ward 55 Councillor, Rashieda Landis

Community, please let’s think of these children who can die on these corners.

I would like to call on the communities at large not to entertain the beggars on the street corners.

The children that they are using are subject to all weather conditions. This action by these adults impacts directly on their health and safety.

Community, please let’s think of these children who can die on these corners.

This happened more especially in my ward. I am mindful of their needs but we cannot allow this conduct by adults. This is a form of human trafficking.

Ward 55 councillor, Rashieda Landis
