
“Paul is in great shape for this coming tournament and we have stepped up our training,” said former champion and trainer, Anton Gilmore.
“Raising the Bar” boxing tournament will take place on Monday September 30 and will be presented by African Ring in conjunction with Emperors Palace and Golden Gloves Promotions.
Boxing starts at 19:00.
Kamanga will fight Willis Baloyi in the junior-welterweight division. “I don’t think that Willis will pose any danger for us, but we will be alert on the evening, as we need to be at the best of our game,” said Gilmore.
The Box Office camp has obtained the services of, well-known in the boxing fraternity Gert Strydom to, assist as cut man in the corner. His expertise is also well recommended at the Box Office camp.
Also back at the Box Office is Raymond Cerfonteyn who is the conditional trainer and looks after the boxer’s physical training. According to Gilmore he will also be in the corner on the evening to assist.
