BOXING prospect of the South, Paul Kamanga, is currently in training for his next fight which will take place next month. He will be in action at Ruben Rasodi’s Strongman Four boxing tournament which will take place in Orlando.

He trains on a daily basis at SweatBox Studio in Glenvista under the watchful eye of Raymond Cerfonteyn. At the SweatBox Studio the focus is on conditioning of the body as well as strengthening of the physical condition.

According to Cerfonteyn, apart for boxing all other sporting codes such as rugby, cricket and athletics, conditioning of the athletes are part and parcel of the gymnasium. Cross-fit training and warrior races conditioning takes place at SweatBox Studio.

Kamanga fights under the banner of Golden Gloves Promotions and Anton Gilmore is his boxing trainer.

Training takes place from Mondays to Fridays mornings and evenings as well as on Saturdays from 08:00 to 10:00.
