DUE to numerous requests from duathletes, the organisers of the 2013/2014 X-DIRT Triathlon Challenge have decided to add a duathlon section to the three remaining races in the Challenge.
Both will be sprint events with the triathlon races consisting of a 600m swim, 20km on road cycle or 14-16km mountain bike stage, depending on the competitor’s preference, and a 5km run leg.
The Next X-Dirt Challenge event is scheduled to take place at Roodeplaat Dam just outside Pretoria on Sunday March 2. The action will then move to Buffelspoort Dam on Sunday March 30, with the final event of the competition taking place at Heron Banks Golf & River Estate, Vanderbijlpark on Sunday April 6.

Late entries will be accepted on race day from 06:00 at an increased fee of R310 (individuals) and R620 (teams). TSA members can participate at R240 (pre-entry) and R260 (late entry).
