Lusito Golf Day great success

Just under 100 golfers joined at the Eye of Africa Signature Golf Course in Eikenhof, for a midday shotgun tee-off, playing a competition format of betterball Stableford.

THE annual Lusito Golf Day was held on September 20 and once again proved to be a real winner and enjoyable day.

Just under 100 golfers joined at the Eye of Africa Signature Golf Course in Eikenhof, for a midday shotgun tee-off, playing a competition format of betterball Stableford. The top 13 betterballs received wonderful prizes.

The winners Barend Kok and Pieter Connell – 50 points (first place), Mario Martins and Tony Pacheco – 49 points (second place) and Divan Vosloo and Glen Webster – 46 points (third place).

Nearest to the pin – longest drive, Johnny Branco (5th hole), Jacques Kok (8th hole), Rhona Marshall (16th hole) and Roberto Isidoro (17th hole).

Longest day – Carlos Loureiro and Marcio Avelar – four points.
