Teachers share their experience

This is what they had to say.

THE COURIER asked teachers at Kenilworth Secondary School what they loved about teaching. This is what they had to say.

THABISILE HADEBE: “Being able to see a change in the learner and growth that you personally instilled. It is amazing and wonderful to watch when learners participate in the classroom and that keeps me happy.”
MLUNGISI NGOBESE: “Being with the learners helps us know the world more and relate to other people. But the most important thing in teaching is changing someone’s thinking to think beyond.”
JODY NAIDOO: “Being there when the learners need assistance, and being able to share your knowledge and words of wisdom with them.”
PATIENCE NGOBENI: “Moulding a learner to become great is something which I admire in the industry. We are here to help learners become responsible individuals and when that mission is accomplished we get excited.”
