Mondeor Meteors U13 football team hosts successful charity football event
The team visited Nkosi’s Haven for a friendly football match and donated groceries and school shoes to support residents.
The Mondeor Meteors U13 football team recently hosted a successful charity event at Nkosi’s Haven in Kibler Park, a organisation that provides care for women and children in need.
The event, which took place on November 15, featured a friendly football match and a school shoes and grocery handover from the Mondeor Meteors to the Nkosis Haven representatives.

The friendly matches took place between the Mondeor Meteors team and a team comprised of residents from Nkosis Haven.
Teams were made up of five players, so all players got a chance to be part of a team and play against on another.

The event was a testament to the team’s commitment to giving back to the community. The players, coaches, and supporters came together to make a meaningful impact, and their efforts were warmly received by the Nkosi’s Haven team.

“We were thrilled to have the opportunity to support Nkosi’s Haven and make a difference in the lives of the women and children they care for,” said Mondeor Meteors U13 coach, Paul Mashapa. “It was a wonderful experience, and we’re grateful to everyone who joined us to make it happen,” he continued.
The event was a fun and uplifting experience for all involved, and it showcased the team’s spirit of community and compassion.
