ON Monday, April 25, at about 14:00, a hijacking took place on the corner of Letitia and Fiona roads in Ridgeway South.
The hijackers were followed from outside Mondeor Precinct to Ridgeway South and shots were fired. Ridgeway Neighbourhood Watch, the Community Policing Forum, Mondeor Sector 2 patrollers, Mondeor SAPS and SOS Protec Sure Armed Response attended the scene.
Two suspects were arrested and a vehicle was recovered by JMPD (Johannesburg Metro Police Department).
“It was through great team work by all involved that the suspects were arrested,” said Michelle Pelser, Mondeor CPF.
