Celebrate June 16 with Ward 55

WARD 55 Sanco Solomon Mahlangu branch will be hosting a June celebration and Winnie Mandela event in commemoration of the late mother of the nation at Turffontein Primary School from 9am on June 16.
Organiser Mandla Xaba said they invite the community to participate (young and old) in these events wearing school uniform.
He said some business and organisations who came on board will donate various items to make these events a success. “We would like to acknowledge the organisations which have shown interest in making this day a success: The One Spirit Tavern, Southdale Centre Management, Bara City Taxi Association, Mr Thabani Xaba and Southdale meter taxis, Mapondweni Pty Ltd and Tip Top Meat supply, Ward 55 Clr Rashida Landis and tuckshop owners. We highly appreciate their contribution,” said Mandla.
