Youth revival a huge success

The Power of God International Ministries graced by Nomvelo Makhanya’s presence.

THE POWER of God International Ministries hosted its three-day youth revival from January 28 till 30 in Lawley, South of Johannesburg.

People from all walks of life attended.

There were celebrity guest speakers like Nomvelo Makhanya from Scandal and Hlengiwe Malinga from Maranatha. The first day was opened by Hlengiwe Malinga, who encouraged young people to try and not conform to the standard of this world but take heed to what the Lord wants.

All distinguished guest applauded Hlengiwe Malinga’s words. The second day couldn’t be better as Lawley was in shutdown by Nomvelo Makhanye’s presence. Residents were in awe of her. Old and young came in large numbers to listen to Nomvelo’s motivational talk.

Her motivation was based on life without God is meaningless. She shared her hardships and struggles before achieving what she has achieved through God.

One of the congregants, Zanele Shezi, said, “Seeing Nomvelo in flesh is amazing. Events like these must be staged once in a while just to inspire more young people. I even had a chance to chat with her. She is welcoming and a people’s person.”
