8 – 29 STORY Book Theatre runs at Peoples Theatre at the Joburg Theatre Complex from September 8 to September 29. Performance times are Mondays to Friday at 9am and 11am, Saturdays at 10.30am and 2.30pm as well as all Sundays and public holidays. Ticket prices are R140 for general public or R100 for members of the Peoples Theatre Kids Club. The Story Book Theatre is aimed at young audiences, generally from three to 10 years, and is one event Johannesburg’s youngsters should not miss this spring. NEW 13 IN Therapy Comedy Show at the Lyric Theatre in the Gold Reef City Casino. In Therapy sees the return of various popular theatrical characters such as Uncle Bala, Harry Mama, Dollia Mausie and Professor Pyarelal. The versatile Vikash Mathura, who plays all of the aforementioned characters, is joined on stage for the first time ever, by his real-life wife, JJ Mathura.
