GALLERY: A tree full of messages to heaven

Stepping Stone Hospice's tree-lighting ceremony took place on December 4 at the Reading Country Club.

In partnership with Reading Country Club, a beautiful tree on the Reading grounds was selected to carry the many messages of hope, celebration and memories of lives that mattered to so many.

Family and friends were offered the opportunity to purchase a remembrance globe and then write a dedicated message to their loved one, a message that is being posted on the Hospice’s website under a dedicated Tree of Lights page.

“The switching on off the lights gave life to these messages and with the lights now staying switched on throughout December, it will act as a reminder that our loved ones will never be forgotten,” said Tersia Burger, CEO of Stepping Stone Hospice.
