Drug dealer nabbed outside a school

A suspected drug dealer was nabbed by Brackendowns SAPS officers on February 15.

“Members from Vispol were patrolling at schools when they came across a young African male selling muffin behind one of the local primary schools,” said WO Gerhard Cornelius, communications liaison for Brackendowns SAPS.

“The members searched the male and found small empty plastic packets in a small container on his person, the same kind used for packaging dagga.”

The officers also discovered a long knife blade in his possession.

“The members immediately started to search the surrounding area and found a packet of dagga hidden in the tree next to him,” said Cornelius.

“The suspect was arrested for possession of dagga and possession of a dangerous weapon and taken to Brackendowns SAPS for detention.”
