Beginner tennis tournament declared a huge success
Invision Tennis Academy and Alberton Tennis Club are pleased to announce that the Invibe beginner tennis tournament hosted on February 13 was a huge success.
Being beginners, all the children had the opportunity to learn basic skills to start their tennis journey.
The sport teaches hand-eye coordination while they also learned about movement on the court, catching and throwing the ball, and how to hold a tennis racquet.
According to Sheldon Sneyd, coach and owner of Invision Tennis Academy, taking part in the tournament brought enjoyment to the youngsters.
“This was shown in the bright smiles and joyful spirits they all presented on the tennis court. I thank all the committee members, members of the Alberton Tennis Club and volunteers that assisted in the running of the tournament,” he said.
Sneyd said Alberton Tennis Club and Invision Tennis Academy have many exciting things planned.
“It is important to build a community that supports the vision of creating a fun, loving and creative atmosphere where self-expression is at the core of the sport,” he said.
